Dr. Faheem Abbasi graduated from Cadet College Hasanabdal in Hasanabdal, Pakistan and earned his MBBS at Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. His Internship in Internal Medicine was completed at Nassau County Medical Center in East Meadow, NY and his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was achieved at New York Presbyterian Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell, New York, NY. Additionally, Dr. Abbasi completed his Fellowship in Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, as well as in Pain Management at Portner Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Inc. in Honolulu, HI.

Dr. Faheem Abbasi specializes in Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine, Orthopedic and Neurological Rehabilitation, as well as in Electrodiagnostic Medicine (Nerve Conduction Study and EMG) and procedures such as peripheral joints and spinal injections to alleviate pain.  He treats patients with neck and back pain, shoulder and arm pain, hip and leg pain, numbness and tingling, arthritis, tendonitis, sciatica, spinal cord injury, stroke, peripheral neuropathy, ligament tears and sports injuries. Dr. Faheem Abbasi’s goal is to help patients return to everyday activities quickly, without surgery or heavy reliance on medication.
