Dr. Matthew Speesler joined The AIMS Clinic in 2000, bringing with him sixteen years of experience in Primary Care Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College of New Brunswick, NJ and continued his graduate medical education at the Universidad de Monterrey, Monterrey, Mexico and NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ, where he received his MD degree. Dr. Speesler completed his Post Graduate Rotating Internship at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ, followed by his Residency at Rutgers Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. He received Certification and Licensure as follows:
Previously, Dr. Speesler served as Medical Director at the Edison Job Corps Training Center in Edison, NJ and Athletic Team Physician for the North Plainfield Public School System. Currently, he serves as Chief Medical Officer for the Spotswood Board of Education, and consulting Physician for the US Coast Guard in Sandy Hook, NJ. Dr. Speesler integrates medical and alternative health care philosophies, with the goal of promoting health and wellness. “Compassionate Specialist” is synonymous with the care provided by Dr. Speesler. As the Executive Director and co-founder of The AIMS Clinic, Dr. Picone supervises
the structural treatment component of the AIMS Medical Breakthrough
Programs. As a Chiropractic Physician, Honorary Guest Speaker for the
Wellness Education Foundation, Author, Educator and Community Leader, Dr.
Picone is committed to his patients and community. To many, he is known
as the "Team Health Detective". For over 30 years, he has
successfully searched for answers to his patients' health symptoms... leaving
no stone unturned! Symptoms may be structural, muscular and/or chemical
in nature, and his purpose is to uncover the factors or triggers that have
led to his patients' health concerns. Dr. Thomas Picone received his Associates Degree at Monmouth College in Long Branch, NJ, and his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Chiropractic at National College of Chiropractic in Lombard, Illinois. He has been a member of the following Associations:
Dr. Reisert, co-founder of The Aims Clinic, is a leader in chiropractic,
and has specialized in natural and preventative healthcare for the last
30 years. As a sought-after chiropractic physician, lecturer and educator,
he provides programs for schools, organizations and merchants within the
community. Dr. Reisert's approach to optimal health is to detect,
reduce or remove nervous system dysfunction - also known as vertebral subluxation.
His goal is to empower others with the tools vital to making educated choices
regarding their health. Dr. John Reisert continues his education by attending seminars on low back pain, and has been a member of the following Associations:
Dr. Shawn Morris was born and raised in Edison, NJ. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor in Nutrition, while playing football on a Scholarship. Continuing his education, Dr. Morris graduated from Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia with Certification in Physical Therapy. Dr. Morris returned to NJ in 2002 to be with his family and join The AIMS Clinic. Prior to returning to his roots, he practiced in Marietta, Georgia for three years. Dr. Morris is a member of the following Associations: As the Senior treating Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Morris provides safe, gentle, effective care combined with the old-fashioned service patients deserve. His reputation has been synonymous with "Quality Care". He specializes in natural and preventative health care. His approach is to detect, reduce or remove nervous system dysfunction - also known as vertebral subluxation. Once free of vertebral subluxations, there is less stress on the nervous system and body structure, allowing one to heal at an optimal level. He has helped thousands of pain sufferers attain and maintain a pain-free and drug-free life! In an effort to promote wellness, and not maintenance of the disease, Dr. Morris provides free community programs, dedicated to helping those with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia syndrome, digestive disorders, pain, stress, sports and auto injuries. His goal is to empower others with the tools to make educated decisions regarding their health and life-style choices. back to topDr. Michael Pollard attended Rutgers University and Middlesex County College. He graduated Cum Laude from Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, and obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physicians (CCSP®) by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (ACBSP™). The CCSP® certification requires the doctor to attend 120 hour postgraduate program. This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Following the completion of these hours, the doctor must then take and successfully pass a comprehensive written examination. This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. The CCSP® accreditation exists to provide a uniform standard of education that assures teams and athletes that the doctor has met a minimum level of competency in chiropractic sports medicine. Additionally, Dr. Pollard is an active member of the Brookview Volunteer Fire Company. is dedicated and committed to YOUR health! Sitting down and truly listening
to his patients' health concerns combined with gentle, effective chiropractic
care, are key to his patients' success! Many often comment on his compassionate
and caring approach to health. For Dr. Pollard, you are not a back pain
patient, or a headache patient, you are "Mary" who can not pick up
her 2 year old son because of back pain or "John", unable to go to
school because of a migraine headache. Guillerma Florentino or “Emma”, as she is known by many of her patients, attended Perpetual Help College of Medicine, Philippines where she received her B.S. in Physical Therapy. As a Certified Physical Therapist Rehabilitation Specialist, Emma is trained in a variety of Therapeutic Exercises and Treatment Options appropriate for a multitude of health concerns. Therapeutic Exercises may include Range-of-Motion/Stretching Exercises to help maintain normal joint movement, relieve stiffness and increase flexibility; Strengthening Exercises to help increase muscle strength, prevent further injury and bone deterioration; and Endurance/Aerobic Exercises to help improve cardiovascular fitness, control weight and improve overall function. For the last twenty years, Emma has dedicated herself to helping patients suffering with joint and soft tissue injuries, work related injuries, as well as those experiencing musculoskeletal and pain syndromes. In additional to traditional physical therapy treatment options, Emma provides Taping/Corrective Techniques for stabilization and Spray and Stretch Techniques to reduce muscle tightness and muscle spasms, as well as to increase range of motion. Mayra Lupo, PT attended New York University, College of Staten Island and the Graduate Center City University of New York, where she earned a B.S. in Physical Therapy and Biochemistry. Over the last twenty-five years, Mayra has focused on neurological and orthopedic rehabilitation, arthritis, joint replacement, soft tissue dysfunction, pain management, as well as providing back and postural education. A friendly smile and encouragement, together with the physical therapy rehabilitation Mayra provides, help patients reach their desired health goal. |
