Shawn M. Morris, DC

Dr. Shawn Morris was born and raised in Edison, NJ. He graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor in Nutrition, while playing football on a Scholarship. Continuing his education, Dr. Morris graduated from Life University College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia with Certification in Physical Therapy. He returned to NJ in 2002, to be with his family and join the AIMS Clinic. Prior to returning to his roots, he practiced in Marietta, Georgia for three years.

Dr. Morris completed his Coursework and Training at the MUA Research Institute. He is one of the few chiropractors in the area, credentialed to perform Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA) - offered at various Hospitals and Surgical Centers. A board certified Anesthesiologist sedates the patient, allowing Dr. Morris to perform deep stretches and manipulations that would not be possible without the complete relaxation that sedation provides. MUA is a proven medical procedure that has been used successfully for more than 60 years. It's a procedure that is covered by most major insurance providers.
