This test is a one-time stool specimen which will help the doctor to determine not only if parasites or candida (yeast) are present in the patient’s GI tract, but also to track the metabolic breakdown of fats, proteins, etc. in each individual patient’s digestive tract.
Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis

This test is a comprehensive urinalysis in which the patient collects every urine sample through a 24-hour period. The urine is then analyzed for the presence of heavy metals or toxic elements such as mercury, lead, aluminum, arsenic, etc., to determine if an IV-chelation program is needed to eliminate the toxins, which may be contributing to the patient’s health condition.
24-Hour Toxic Element Clearance Profile

This test is performed by taking a small sample of “virgin” or non-chemically treated hair, and sending it to the lab. This will determine the presence of toxic elements or heavy metals, and is especially useful in patients who suffer from incontinence, small children who lack toilet training skills, or active adults who simply do not have sufficient time to collect every urine sample in a 24-hour period. It is a good indicator of toxic element exposure in that it acts as a historian, by storing nutrients, elemental exposure for the last 20 years.
Elemental Analysis Hair

This test will check for the presence of both strong and moderate delayed immune reactions to foods, additives/preservatives, food colorings, molds, environmental chemicals, toxic minerals, medications, therapeutic herbs, danders, hair, and feathers. This test works by testing the lymphocytes in your blood sample, as if there are still in your bloodstream, being exposed to foreign invaders. Within 7-10 days of the sample being analyzed, a comprehensive report is ready for the Medical Director to review with you. In addition to the report of findings, an individualized treatment program is created to improve your health condition
ELISA/ACT LRA Test

RAST is an acronym for IgE-radioallergosorbent testing. This type of blood test checks for the presence of elevated levels of IgE in the blood when the blood is put in contact with specific allergens. A RAST test will measure an IMMEDIATE allergic reaction to approximately 100 dietary or environmental substances. It is especially useful in the assessment of hives, wheezing, or shock that may occur minutes after being exposed to a reacting food or chemical. We can obtain RAST results either through the ELISA/ACT Biotechnologies Laboratory or through NuTek Diagnostics Laboratories.
RAST Blood Tests

Saliva testing is the most reliable way to measure free, bioavailable hormone activity—those hormones actually doing their job on a cellular level. Most blood tests do not measure bioavailable hormones. Additionally, saliva hormone testing more accurately reflects tissue uptake and response of hormones delivered topically through skin via gels, creams, or patches. An added benefit to saliva testing is that it is a painless and needle-free way of testing hormones, as the stress of blood tests may alter the accuracy of hormonal blood test results. Once the hidden hormonal imbalances have been identified, we can correct them, and often, handle chronic health problems in turn.

The AMAS test is a generic blood test for cancer of all types and it works by measuring AMA (the antibody to Malignin, a 10,000 Dalton polypeptide which has been found to be present in most malignant cells regardless of cell type or location). This test measures a well-defined antibody whose serum levels rise early in the course of the disease. In some cases, the AMAS test has been positive (elevated) as early as 1-19 months before clinical detection. Our physicians recommend this test for patients who are at a high risk for cancer, as well as for follow-up diagnostic purposes on patients already diagnosed and/or treated for cancer.

The Organic Acid Test (OAT) Combo with Yeast Sensitivity is a combination urine and stool test that is sent out to the Great Plains Laboratories for analysis. The OAT test helps to identify yeast and bacteria overgrowth, vitamin deficiencies, inborn errors, and many other health problems. It is an especially useful diagnostic tool for patients with autism, behavioral problems, bowel disorders, candidiasis, chronic fatigue syndrome, dysbiosis, ear infections and fibromyalgia. The Yeast Culture with Sensitivity Test is done in combination with the OAT in order to get the most accurate reading, and to identify which antifungal agents are the most effective treatment for the detected yeast strain.

We routinely perform such standard blood tests as Lipid Profiles, CBC’s, Thyroid Profiles, Comprehensive Health Panels, Allergy Panels, Epstein-Barr Virus Panels, Hepatic Function Panels, etc. through either NuTek Diagnostic Laboratories or through LabCorps, depending on your insurance coverage.
Comprehensive Blood Testing

We perform a non-invasive current perception threshold test, which provides the doctor with an objective and reproductive functional assessment of the peripheral nervous system. It allows the doctor to differentiate between conditions stemming from multiple nerve conditions, single nerve conditions, or spinal nerve root conditions. This test is primarily used for patients experiencing chronic or acute pain that presents with radiation--pain shooting into a limb (e.g sciatica, carpal tunnel symdrome, etc.) or patients with chronic headaches.
Nerve Conduction Studies

This type of test measures the patients skin temperature in many different areas to evaluate the circulation at each of the nerve positions in the upper and lower extremities. Often times, this test is used in conjunction with the Nerve Conduction Studies, to help tailor a treatment program consisting of chiropractic care and physical therapy treatments specific to the patients’ needs. These tests can also be used at various points during the patients treatment program to evaluate the amount of progress that has been achieved.
Temperature Gradient Studies

This test measures the electrical activity of the heart, and is used to determine irregularities in rate, rhythm, and/or muscle damage (heart attack).
EKG (Electrocardiogram)

This test measures lung capacity and function. It is routinely performed as a screening prior to a physical therapy evaluation.
Spirometry

This test is performed prior to selecting the weight loss program that will offer maximum benefits to our patients. During this test, the patient stands with bare feet on a special, computerized scale. The scale sends and measures an imperceptible electrical current through the patients’ body. From this measurement, the patient’s percentage of body fat, percentage of lean body mass, percentage of water, actual weight and the percentage of body fat loss necessary to attain optimum health is recorded. A Body Composition Analysis has the added benefit of measuring the increased risk for serious health conditions including hypertension, type II diabetes, stroke, breast cancer, gall bladder disease, respiratory problems, coronary heart disease, and prostate cancer. Athletes use the Body Composition Analysis to fine tune their performance.
