How many people suffer with headaches in the US?
Some 45 million Americans suffer with chronic headaches every year (an average of 20 million females and 25 million males), representing roughly one out of every six people. What is the most common headache category?
In 2007, the International Headache Society, classified headaches into three categories – Primary Headaches, Secondary Headaches and Cranial Neuralgias/Facial Pain. Over 90% of all headaches fall into the Primary Headache category, which includes, Tension Headaches, Migraines and Cluster Headaches.

What are common headache symptoms?
Pain is the obvious symptom, but you can also suffer with confusion, irritability, fatigue, nausea, dizziness or visual irregularities.

What causes or triggers a headache?
According to research, a combination of genetic predisposition and environmental factors are involved. This includes muscle imbalances, neck or back strain due to poor posture, a blow to the head (trauma), changes in sleep patterns, allergens or toxins (yeast), hormonal imbalances, illness, infection or a cold; medication, eyestrain, alcohol, skipping meals (blood sugar regulation), emotional stress (tension and depression).
