What is CareCredit?
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card that makes care possible today – for purchases of all amounts. It is a credit card designed for your health, beauty, and wellness needs. With many of our special financing options, you can avoid paying interest by making your minimum monthly payments and paying the full amount due by the end of the promotional period.
How is CareCredit different from my other bank cards?
Unlike your Visa or MasterCard, the CareCredit healthcare credit card offers special financing options. With shorter term financing options that range from 6 to 12 months, no interest will be charged on purchases of $200 or more if you make your minimum monthly payments and pay the full amount due by the end of the promotional period. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional balance, including optional charges, is not paid in full within the 12 months. Minimum monthly payments are required.
Is CareCredit an insurance policy?
No. CareCredit is a healthcare credit card. You qualify on the strength of your credit history. It does not replace insurance policies. Instead, it’s meant to help you pay out-of-pocket healthcare costs that may not be covered by your insurance policy.
